Keren Albala is an animator, digital artist and independent filmmaker working in Los Angeles, CA. She received her BA in Art Practice from UC Berkeley, with an emphasis in experimental film and video, and her MFA in Animation and Digital Arts from USC. Her short films have screened at film festivals worldwide.

As an artist who is passionate about animation as an educational tool, she has produced animated content for the Wrigley Institute of Environmental Studies, The History Channel’s Modern Marvels, the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific, and independent documentary films. She was a primary animator for the Untamed Science video lessons, an award winning middle school and high school Biology series made in collaboration with Pearson Education.

Keren has also created animation and previsualization for several games and feature films, including Ice Age: Continental Drift, Kinect: Star Wars, Iron Man 3, Oz: The Great and Powerful, and Maleficent. In her spare time she draws, plays roller derby and collects high fives.


Paul Maurer is a lead Sound Designer at Native Instruments in Berlin, Germany. He received a Master of Music degree in the Music Technology program at New York University. He is a composer of a wide variety of music styles, specializing in orchestral, pop, rock, folk, circus, and children's music. Contact him at:
